Starting the Brendan Borek Weekend, the Rock’n Chair hosted a kick-off concert with town favorites Garret Dutton and Chuck Treece.  A line formed around the block and cover money collected from the door was donated to the Brendan Borek High Tides Memorial Fund.

     Following the Brendan Borek Beef and Beer, the Rock’n Chair hosted an after party with the Princes of Babylon.  Again, money collected at the door was donated to the Brendan Borek Memorial Fund.  The night was a huge success and the crowd was treated to a special performance by Garret Dutton at the end of the night.

     The 15th Annual Brendan Borek Weekend was a huge success, including the First

Annual Fashion Show at the Rock’n Chair’s Top of the Rock.

     The show sold out and became standing room only as the models walked the runway, featuring clothes from Avalon Surf, Suncatcher, Pale Moon Boutique and

Belissima. 

     Other sponsors included the Rock’n Chair, The Preppy Palm and Michele’s Full Service Hair Salon.  Sponsors put

together baskets that were raffled off along with a pair of Jimmy Buffet tickets after the event.
